About the Game:

Darkrise presents a classic RPG experience with retro pixel aesthetics, designed by two indie developers in a nostalgic style. Within this action-packed RPG, players can explore four distinct classes: Mage, Warrior, Archer, and Rogue. Each class boasts unique skills, mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses, offering different gameplay experiences. The hero's homeland faces an onslaught from goblins, undead creatures, demons, and neighboring nations, compelling the protagonist to fortify themselves and liberate their country from the invaders.

Game Highlights:

◈ With 50 locations to explore and three difficulty settings, players encounter enemies spawning in front of them or emerging from portals scattered randomly across each location. Each enemy possesses distinct characteristics, with occasional appearances from defective foes whose unpredictable powers add an extra layer of challenge. The combat system is dynamic and immersive, featuring camera shakes, striking flashes, and animated health drops and item pickups. Both player characters and enemies are swift, demanding constant movement to avoid defeat.

◈ Darkrise provideds numerous avenues for character enhancement. With eight equipment types and six rarities available, players can customize their armor by slotting gems and combining them to create upgraded versions. The town's smith provides enhancement and reforging services to further enhance armor effectiveness.

◈ In the latest version (0.20.1) of Darkrise, several notable additions and improvements enhance the gameplay experience. The powerful Skeleton King boss, along with its unique location and exclusive items, joins the roster of challenges. Health potions have been introduced to assist players in their battles. The auto-select function now offers more flexible settings for player convenience. 

◈ Additionally, every character now possesses a fixed dodging skill to evade enemy attacks. Two new skills, Eruption and Shuriken Throw, have been introduced, adding versatility to character abilities. 

◈ Furthermore, Blade Throw, a previously removed skill, has been modified and reinstated for Warriors. 

Lastly, most skills now remove the Rogue from invisibility upon activation, providing additional strategic depth to gameplay.
