A military metropolis split into four districts, each under the authority of a different squad, serves as the setting for the game. Players take control of characters from the Vermilion Birds and Azure Dragons factions, each with their own goals, aspirations, and reasons for being in a city that is engulfed in a catastrophic crisis.

The player's choices affect how things go down and how relationships work out as they decide whether to go for fame, fortune, or something deeper.
