You find yourself engaged in combat with The Ringmaster, a cunning criminal, in Provenance City. You wake up at the municipal library after falling asleep to the sound of three hideous superheroes fighting.

They are a member of the Enigma Squad, a vigilante squad defending the city against The Ringmaster's terrifying attacks.
