What is LUDO?

Ludo is a strategy board game for two to four players, in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to the rolls of a single die. Like other cross and circle games, Ludo is derived from the Indian game Pachisi. The game and its variations are popular in many countries and under various names.

Pachisi was created in India in the sixth century CE. It was modified to use a cubic die with a die cup and patented as "Ludo" in England in 1896.The Royal Navy took Ludo and converted it into the board game Uckers.

How To Play LUDO?

1. Place four tokens in each player's starting box.

2. Roll the dice to begin your turn, and move your token according to the number shown on the dice.

3. If a 6 is rolled, the player gets another turn immediately.

4. Knocking out an opponent's token allows the player to roll again.

5. Tokens must reach the center of the board before moving towards the HOME area.

6. The first player to successfully return all four tokens to the HOME area wins the game.
