The main character is an ordinary office worker who is fed up with the same old routine of life. He happens onto a shrine one day and, on impulse, says a prayer for transformation. He had no idea that the shrine is the home of the cunning fox god Kitsunegami.

The main character finds that he has developed cat ears the next morning! Now the protagonist needs to find Kitsunegami and make a deal with Rihito in order to get a mystical seal that will allow them to release the curse.

A masculine alpha fox deity. Despite having superhuman abilities, he is not at all interested in carrying out his divine tasks. 

He is constantly seeking for anything to amuse himself, so when the main character came to his shrine, he thought it would be amusing to give him cat ears.
