Spirit Island

Spirit Island is a game where you and your friends work together to protect your home from invaders. It's a strategy game created by R. Eric Reuss. Imagine a world where magic still exists, where spirits live in everything around us - the land, the sky, and all of nature. But as powerful countries like Europe expand their empires, they'll eventually reach places where spirits are strong. And when they do, the land itself fights back, along with the people who call that place home.

In Spirit Island, set in an alternate history around A.D. 1700, players take on the roles of different spirits of the land. Each spirit has its own special powers, and together, you have to defend your island from colonizers who bring destruction and blight. You'll work with the native Dahan people to make your powers stronger and drive away the invaders in this game of strategic area control.

◈ Blight cards with tough effects as the invaders damage the island 

◈ Fear cards that give you bonuses when you scare the invaders away

Every rule and interaction in the game has been tested by expert players and the game's designer, so you can trust that it's been carefully crafted for the best experience possible.

Or, you can get Horizons of Spirit Island, which is an introductory set of content perfect for new players. If you want access to everything, you can subscribe for Unlimited Access, which unlocks all content during your subscription, including future updates.

There are also expansion packs available, like Branch & Claw and Jagged Earth, which add even more spirits, island boards, adversaries, and scenarios to the game.

This update includes a few bug fixes:

- Fixed a crash that could occur when Dread Apparitions is in play and Eyes Watch from the Trees and Ocean's Hungry Grasp are in the game.

- Fixed various issues with undoing after the Spirit Phase.

- Prey on the Heedless now lets you use Beasts as efficiently as possible against Russia 2+.

- Beset and Confound the Invaders no longer can cause a multiplayer desync with Russia 5+.
